The Maritime Pasty Company, based in beautiful Halifax, Novia Scotia, Canada, produces hand-crimped Cornish pasties that are available from several outlets:
Perk's - Lower Water Street
Pete's Frootique - Spring Garden
Beale's Bailiwick - Peggy's Cove
Halifax Farmers Market - Sat
The pasties have been tested by our friend Isobel during a visit to Canada recently and were found be very nice, with puff pastry (see Warren's pasties, here) and to taste quite buttery.
